Certamente il nostro Ministro è in linea con Prodi, il quale ha sempre fortemente criticato le iniziative unilaterali delle Regioni in tema di commercio estero.
Ma... Ma... Ma... ricordate cosa hanno sempre detto i radicali (Pannella, Bonino, Capezzone) su questo tema quando al governo c'era Berlusconi????....

“Chiedo formalmente le dimissioni di Emma Bonino, perché un ministro quando parla deve essere ben consapevole di ciò che dice”.
Così la presidente del consiglio regionale della Campania, Sandra Lonardo, rispedisce al mittente le critiche che oggi il ministro per le politiche comunitarie Emma Bonino ha mosso nei confronti delle delegazioni dei consigli regionali della Campania e della Lombardia presenti a New York per i festeggiamenti del Columbus Day. “Non permettiamo a nessuno — aggiunge la Lonardo — di enfatizzare in negativo, quando questo non esiste”. “Per questo — prosegue — io non ci sto e invito il ministro Bonino a raggiungerci a New York affinché possa incontrarci e rendersi conto di persona”. Nel replicare al ministro per le Politiche comunitarie, la presidente Lonardo sottolinea, inoltre, che “qui a New York non stiamo facendo i turisti, stiamo lavorando e non andiamo a fare shopping”.
Analoga la reazione dei rappresentanti del Consiglio regionale della Lombardia. Il vicepresidente del Consiglio, Enzo Lucchini, boccia infatti come “ingenerose” le critiche mosse dal ministro, “critiche che non possono e non devono contagiarci”. Lucchini, per meglio sottolineare la presenza del Consiglio regionale, ricorre alle precedenti esperienze in cui il Consiglio regionale della Lombardia ha partecipato al Columbus Day. “Noi alle spalle — dice Lucchini — abbiamo quattro esperienze molto positive che hanno prodotto importanti accordi commerciali”.

Forse è vero che in linea teorica le missioni servono a qualcosa, ma solo nell'ambito di teorie decisamente sorpassate. Se si guarda alla realtà attuale, generalmente le missioni servono a danneggiare ulteriormente il sistema delle relazioni internazionali, e mettere in moto ulteriori meccanismi clientelari e sprecasoldi, tipo "cooperazione" di ogni genere.
Tengo d'occhio il caso del Brasile, uno dei preferiti dai nostri vacanzieri a spese altrui. A parte le missioni della Corte dei Conti (bell'esempio davvero!), sono raccapricciato dalle iniziative messe in piedi da anni ormai, dalla triade delle regioni sinistroidi italocentrali Toscana Umbria e Marche.
