El presidente de Estados Unidos, Barack Obama, dijo ayer que considera un "incidente serio" la decisión del gobierno argentino de retener parte del cargamento del avión de la Fuerza Aérea norteamericana que el mes pasado llegó al país para cumplir con un entrenamiento especial de fuerzas de elite de la Policía Federal,

Por primera vez en 40 días de tensión diplomática, Obama se refirió al tema y dejó en claro que no lo considera un episodio superado. Por el cotrario, dijo que espera la devolución del material secuestrado por la Aduana y que en cuanto pueda le transmitirá en persona su reclamo a Cristina Kirchner.

"Ellos tienen algunos de nuestros equipos de comunicación. No hay razón para no devolverlos. Y la próxima vez que vea a la presidenta Kirchner le voy a preguntar: «¿Podemos recuperar nuestro equipamento?»", dijo Obama en una entrevista en El Salvador con el periodista de The Miami Herald y columnista de La Nacion Andrés Oppenheimer.

Al preguntarle si el vocero del Departamento de Estado había sobreactuado al decir que el caso del avión constituía un "incidente serio", el presidente norteamericano fue enfático: "No. Es serio en el sentido de que la Argentina ha sido históricamente un amigo y un socio de los Estados Unidos".

De todos modos, intentó mostrarse conciliador al señalar: "No va a ser un aspecto decisivo de la relación Estados Unidos-Argentina".

La crisis diplomática con Washington se inició el 10 de febrero, cuando un avión Globemaster III de la fuerza aérea de los Estados Unidos aterrizó en Ezeiza cargado de armas y elementos militares que iban a ser usados por personal de ese país en ejercicios con policías federales, como parte de un acuerdo firmado entre los dos gobiernos. Sin embargo, al ser inspeccionada por la Aduana la carga de la nave, se detectaron presuntas incongruencias entre el material que había informado Estados Unidos por medio de su embajada y lo que realmente llegaba al país. Los militares norteamericanos se negaron a abrir parte del equipaje. Entonces, empezó un operativo que encabezó el propio canciller Héctor Timerman, en el que se abrió por la fuerza el cargamento.

La Aduana se incautó de equipos de transmisión, medicamentos y partes de armas que, indicó, no habían sido declaradas en forma adecuada. El avión despegó dos días después, en coincidencia con los primeros reclamos formales de la diplomacia norteamericana para que fuera restituido el material secuestrado.

En el Gobierno -que desconocía ayer el contenido de la entrevista de Oppenheimer con Obama- ratificaron ayer que no está en agenda la devolución del equipamiento militar norteamericano. En teoría la Aduana debe decidir qué hacer, pese a que es sabido que la decisión se tomará al máximo nivel político. La Justicia dictaminó que los militares norteamericanos no cometieron delitos y que el episodio sólo puede ser encuadrado como infracción aduanera.

"No esperen un cambio en el corto plazo", dijo una fuente oficial. Sobre todo, añadió, ante la inminente visita al país del presidente de Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, que llega a Buenos Aires el próximo martes.

Malestar

Con sus declaraciones de ayer, Obama dejó en claro que el malestar por la reacción argentina había llegado a lo más alto del poder en Washington, ya que respaldó al pie de la letra la línea argumental que expresó desde febrero el vocero del Departamento de Estado, Philip Crowley (que renunció hace una semana por diferencias con el Pentágono por la forma en que se manejó el caso WikiLeaks).

Obama habló con Oppenheimer en El Salvador, al final de su primera gira por América latina, que incluyó escalas en Brasil y Chile. Justamente la exclusión de Buenos Aires en ese periplo regional había causado un enorme fastidio en el gobierno de Cristina Kirchner, y algunas fuentes de la Casa Rosada admiten que eso influyó en la inusual réplica que encabezó Timerman en Ezeiza. A lo largo de su gira latinoamericana, Obama destacó la "creciente importancia" que la región tiene para los Estados Unidos y prometió trabajar para afirmar los lazos diplomáticos.

Sus palabras en la entrevista con Oppenheimer fueron casi la única mención que hizo de la Argentina durante los cinco días de recorrido latinoamericano. La otra había sido un comentario al pasar a la presidenta de Brasil, Dilma Rousseff, a la que le recomendó hablar con Cristina Kirchner para lograr que se quedara en Brasil el emblemático cuadro Abaporu, de Tarsila do Amaral, que el Malba le prestó al gobierno del vecino país para exhibir en el Palacio del Planalto durante la visita de la delegación norteamericana.

Además de sus palabras sobre el caso del avión, Obama declaró estar muy pendiente de la situación en Cuba y en Venezuela. También habló de la operación en Libia y dijo que no le preocupaba haberse topado en los países latinoamericanos con fuertes críticas a la ofensiva militar que encabeza Estados Unidos. El gobierno argentino es uno de los que cuestionan esa actuación militar.

Obama relató también que sus dos hijas eligieron estudiar español de manera intensiva. "Hablar español será importante para los norteamericanos en un momento en que América latina está creciendo en su importancia económica y diplomática", dijo Obama.

LA EVOLUCION DEL CONFLICTO

El inicio de la polémica

El 10 de febrero, un avión C-17 Globemaster III, de la fuerza aérea de EE.UU., llegó al aeropuerto de Ezeiza con personal militar y material bélico. El objetivo era brindar un curso a la Policía Federal para situaciones de crisis en la toma de rehenes. Las autoridades argentinas detectaron "material que no figuraba en el memorando que se había aprobado" para el curso. El equipo fue incautado, lo que dio inicio al conflicto diplomático más grave desde la asunción de Cristina Kirchner.

Quejas cruzadas

El vocero del Departamento de Estado criticó la falta de colaboración del gobierno argentino, reclamó la devolución del material militar y habló de un incidente serio. "Desde el primer momento hemos tratado de colaborar, pero es como si en el gobierno argentino no quisieran escucharnos", dijeron en Washington. El gobierno de Cristina Kirchner reaccionó con dureza a las quejas de la administración Obama. Mediante un comunicado, aseguró que quien aún debe una "explicación" es el gobierno norteamericano y no el argentino. Insistió que la Casa Blanca "no colabora". A la vez, el canciller Timerman (foto) pidió a Jefferson Brown, encargado de negocios de la embajada norteamericana en la Argentina, que se abstuviera de comentar ante los medios de prensa los pormenores del entuerto diplomático.

Paura a votare contro?!

O Conselho de Segurança das Nações Unidas aprovou nesta quinta-feira (17) a criação de uma zona de exclusão aérea sobre a Líbia e a adoção de "todas as medidas necessárias" para proteger civis contra as forças do governo Muammar Kadhafi, o que na prática autoriza ações militares.

A resolução foi aprovada por dez dos 15 membros do conselho. Brasil, China, Rússia, India e Alemanha se abstiveram. Não houve votos contrários à medida, que era defendida por França, Inglaterra, Líbano e os Estados Unidos.

O anúncio foi recebido com comemoração por milhares de manifestantes antigoverno na cidade de Benghazi, segunda maior cidade líbia que se tornou o reduto da oposição a Kadhafi.

A medida foi saudada com fogos de artifício, gritos e tiros para o ar, segundo a TV árabe Al Jazeera. Nesta quinta, o ditador anunciou que anunciou que as forças governamentais atacariam a cidade na noite desta quinta. O ministro francês das Relações Exteriores, Alain Juppé, advertiu que não há muito tempo para interveir. "Pode ser uma questão de horas".

Sanções
O embaixador britânico na ONU, Mark Lyall Grant, afirmou antes que a resolução irá ampliar as sanções sobre o governo de Kadhafi, sem especificá-las.

O rascunho da resolução obtido pela agência Reuters antes da votação pede para que haja congelamento dos bens da Libyan National Oil Corp. e do banco central líbio devido a vínculos com Muamar Kadhafi.

Os Estados Unidos, anteriormente relutantes à ideia de uma intervenção militar, disseram nesta quinta-feira que o Conselho de Segurança da ONU deveria considerar a adoção de medidas mais duras do que a imposição de uma zona de exclusão aérea na Líbia.

"Estamos discutindo muito seriamente e comandando os esforços no Conselho a respeito de uma gama de ações que acreditamos ser eficazes para proteger os civis", disse a embaixadora dos EUA na ONU, Susan Rice, na noite de quarta-feira em Nova York. "A visão dos EUA é que precisamos estar preparados para contemplar os passos que incluem uma zona de exclusão aérea, talvez indo além dela", afirmou.

Disparos e explosões
Mas o debate internacional sobre eventuais ações militares pode se arrastar, dando a Kadhafii tempo para dominar a rebelião, que já dura cerca de um mês.Nesta quinta-feira (17), o exército líbio anunciou que, a partir de domingo, supenderá suas operações militares contra a insurreição para que "os terroristas possam entregar suas armas'.

A TV estatal líbia disse que disparos e explosões foram ouvidos no aeroporto próximo a Benghazi. Se confirmado, seria o primeiro combate nos arredores da cidade onde a revolução começou, e um sinal do sucesso da contraofensiva governista.

Os confrontos em torno de Ajdabiyah, uma cidade estratégica na rodovia litorânea, contiveram o avanço do Exército rumo a Benghazi, mas os militares alertaram aos cidadãos que pretendem avançar para a cidade, e recomendaram aos moradores que deixem as áreas controladas pelos rebeldes.

A TV Al Arabiya disse que cerca de 30 pessoas já foram mortas nos combates em Ajdabiyah. Nos arredores da cidade, há carros queimados nos acostamentos, e as forças do governo exibem à imprensa estrangeira os seus canhões, tanques e lançadores móveis de foguetes -- um poderio bélico muito superior ao que é usado pelos rebeldes.

A TV estatal informou que as forças do governo capturaram também Misrata, terceira maior cidade líbia, 200 quilômetros a leste de Trípoli. Rebeldes e moradores, no entanto, negaram a afirmação.

Obama Doctrine Sends Shockwave Across World

Russian diplomats are reporting in the Kremlin today that the “shockwave” of the new doctrine enunciated by President Obama for the United States has reverberated throughout the corridors of power in both the West and East and now threatens the Old Order established in the aftermath of World War II, but to what ends can still not be determined.

To fully understand the new Obama Doctrine it is important to note that the United States, for the past nearly 70 years, has built up, and sustained their Global Empire through the installation and support of some of the most brutal and repressive regimes our World has ever known.  The cruelest irony of these US-supported regimes being that they consigned hundreds of millions to lives of misery, while costing the lives of hundreds-of-thousands more, all while the Americans were proclaiming themselves to be the champions of liberty and freedom throughout the World.

In those rare instances where the people living under the yoke of these US-sponsored dictatorial regimes did manage to hold free and fair elections they were met by brutal American force, and as evidenced by just these few examples:

·         The 1953 overthrow of the democratically elected government of Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh (1882-1967) orchestrated by the intelligence agencies of the US and UK.

·         The 1954 overthrow of the democratically elected President of Guatemala Jacobo Árbenz Guzmán (1913-1971) ousted in a covert operation organized by the United States Central Intelligence Agency.

·         The 1964 overthrow of the democratically elected President of Brazil President João Goulart (1919-1976) who was ousted in a military coup supported by the US.

·         The 1973 overthrow and murder of the democratically elected President of Chile Salvador Allende (1908-1973) who was overthrown in a coup d’état organized by the Chilean military and supported by the US.

·         The 1976 overthrow of the democratically elected President of Argentina Isabel Perón (born February 4, 1931) ousted in a military coup supported by the US.

Though these Nations, and many other like them, have managed over the past few decades to throw off their US-backed tyrannical regimes, the same cannot be said of many others, most important of them being the brutal American supported dictators of the Arab World, who for decades have consigned their people to the depths of poverty and depravity, while at the same time being lavished with Trillions of Dollars to support their regimes provided to them by the United States taxpayers.

In what future historians will no doubt note as the greatest irony in the history of mankind, at the same time the United States was supporting the peoples of the former Soviet Union, who collapsed that brutal regime in the early 1990’s, and supported what are called the “Colored Revolutions” that freed tens-of-millions more from brutal Communist tyranny, they continued their support to some of the most hated dictatorial regimes in modern history holding hostage over 1 Billion human beings and including: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Algeria, Tunisia, Qatar, Yemen, Morocco, United Arab Emirates, Communist China and Vietnam.

To the yearnings and aspirations of these over 1 Billion human beings to be freed from the US-backed regimes destroying their lives the United States, for decades, had closed their ears….that is until this past week when Obama, in splitting from his own Military Industrial Complex (MIC), and America’s most faithful Arab dictator said:

“A new generation has emerged. They have made it clear that Egypt must reflect their hopes, fulfill their highest aspirations, and tap their boundless potential. In these difficult times, I know that the Egyptian people will persevere, and they must know that they will continue to have a friend in the United States of America.”

In less than 24-hours from Obama releasing these words to the Egyptian people their US-backed dictator, Hosni Mubarak (born May 4, 1928), was ousted from power in a military coup that has sent shockwaves throughout the entire Middle East.

The reason for this “shockwave” is that with Obama’s supporting the Egyptian people over their dictatorial regime he has signaled to the whole World that America will no longer live a lie paying only lip service to those seeking freedom, but will henceforth back up their highest ideals of freedom with action.

The reaction throughout the Arab World to Obama’s New Doctrine has been astounding, to say the least, and, in part, include:

·         Jordon’s tribal leaders making an unprecedented charge of corruption against their US-backed royal house.

·         The people of Algeria rising up in mass to overthrow their decade’s long rule by a Western-backed military junta.  

·         The people of Yemen holding massive demonstrations to overthrow their US-backed dictator.

·         The people of Bahrain preparing to hold a ‘day of rage’ protest against their US-backed dictator.  

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) report on the New Obama Doctrine, however, paints a much grimmer picture of it by stating that the Americans are preparing for a “full-scale” pullback into the Western Hemisphere and their actions of this week are a “warning” to the rest of the World to “leave them alone” and have likened it to a 21st reaffirmation of the 19th Century Monroe Doctrine.

The Monroe Doctrine was a policy of the United States introduced on December 2, 1823. It stated that further efforts by European countries to colonize land or interfere with states in the Americas would be viewed as acts of aggression requiring USintervention. The Monroe Doctrine asserted that the Western Hemisphere was not to be further colonized by European countries but that the United States would neither interfere with existing European colonies nor meddle in the internal concerns of European countries.

The main reason for the United States retrenchment to the Western Hemisphere, the SVR says, is due to many factors, the most important of them being the water crisis currently engulfing the entire Middle East and stated by all military experts will lead to outright warfare.

Equally as important, the SVR says, are the United States new assessments that Saudi Arabia is running out of oil, meaning that the cost in money and American lives to protect the dictators of the Middle East are no longer in their greater Nations interest, especially when viewed in the light that the World’s largest oil reserves now lie in the Western Hemisphere countries of Venezuela and Brazil.   

Towards that end, Obama, in announcing his first foreign trip for 2011, picked Brazil, Chile and El Salvador, all Nations that have suffered under the yoke of US oppression, but to which the Americans are now offering an “olive branch” of support to.

As the Official Seal of the United States contains an eagle (their National bird) holding these olive branches in its claw, it is important to note that in its other claw it holds arrows, and which the Americans signaled they were preparing to use when on April 28, 2008 the reactivated their Naval Forces Southern Command (USNAVSO) as the main Naval element of United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) designating its areas of operation as South America, Central America, the Caribbean and surrounding waters and this past July, 2010, landed 7,000 US Marines on the beaches of Costa Rica.

In a further move to retrench itself into the Western Hemisphere, and as we had reported on in our February 8th report titled “Obama Creates World’s First Superstate With US-Canada Merger”, the United States has moved itself one step closer to establishing what it is called The North American Union.

To the main reason lying behind the New Obama Doctrine we have, also, reported on many times as being the secret (and still blacklisted in the US) 2004 Pentagon report obtained by London’s Observer News Service that, in part, warned:

“Climate change over the next 20 years could result in a global catastrophe costing millions of lives in wars and natural disasters..

A secret report, suppressed by US defence chiefs and obtained by The Observer, warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a 'Siberian' climate by 2020. Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread rioting will erupt across the world.

The document predicts that abrupt climate change could bring the planet to the edge of anarchy as countries develop a nuclear threat to defend and secure dwindling food, water and energy supplies. The threat to global stability vastly eclipses that ofterrorism, say the few experts privy to its contents.

'Disruption and conflict will be endemic features of life,' concludes the Pentagon analysis. 'Once again, warfare would define human life.'”

Seven years later, and as we had detailed in our February 6th report “New Superstorms Warned Have ‘Doomed’ World Food Production”, the worst fears of the Pentagon are coming true, and the worst is yet to come as nearly all of this World’s leaders know, but few are able to prepare for.

Of those Nations that are preparing their actions are unprecedented, to say the least, and include China’s building of a 5,000 km underground complex and “ghost cities” able to hold millions of their citizens relocated from their coastal regions, Russia’s plan to build 5,000 additional bomb shelters for their citizens by 2012, and the creation of what is called the Doomsday Seed Vault in the Arctic where are entire World’s seed stocks and DNA are being stored.  

To one of the main “signaling triggers”, so to speak, about the greater catastrophes to come we had we had touched upon in our January 29th report “Fourth Turning ‘Event’ Stuns World Powers”, but which, admittedly, many will turn away from due to their lack of knowledge of these things.

Most unfortunately, however, are those who turn away from truth never realizing the precious possession they have obtained, or, even worse, who, in fact, directed them to it in the first place.

After all, plain common sense dictates that should any World leader divulge the truth of what is happening now, and what is to come, the complete order of society would collapse and anarchy would reign.

So, and in the absence of being able to tell everyone the truth, the decision has to be made on whom to tell to, and how prepare.  That is the questions that perplexes many today, but the answer, should you so choose to see, lies always before you.

US Attempt To Assassinate Argentina President Foiled

A shocking Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) report circulating in the Kremlin today claims that a rogue “hit team” of US Military assassins were foiled in their attempt to kill the President of the South American Nation of Argentina, Cristina Elisabet Fernández de Kirchner, [photo top left with Venezuela President Hugo Chavez] after their US Air Force plane was seized late last week.

According to this report, upon its landing at the Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport, a US Air Force Boeing Globemaster III aircraft [photo 3rd left] was inspected by Argentinean Customs Police after they had received an “anonymous tip” from and unidentified “foreign intelligence” agency.

Upon their inspection of the US Air Force plane they discovered a cache of “hidden cargo” marked “Diplomatic Property of the US Government” that upon their opening were found to contain guns, drugs and satellite phones.   

Argentina’s Foreign Minister, Héctor Timerman, further described that in this “diplomatic” cargo shipment was a briefcase containing morphine, psychotropic medication, highly-sensitive communication devices and a letter that read, in Spanish, “I am an American soldier, let my country know I’ve been arrested.”

The SVR says is this report that the psychotropic medication found by Argentinean authorities are “highly consistent” with the United States decades long effort to create “mind-controlled” assassins, and which was first revealed in 1975 by the Church Committee of the US Congress releasing what are referred to as the Project MKULTRA secret documents.

US Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs, Arturo Valenzuela, called on Argentina to return the property it had seized “without delay” and stated “It's absolutely necessary that they immediately return that material. It makes no sense for it to have been confiscated this way. This material was intended for a joint exercise in training people to rescue hostages.”

Argentina, of course, flat out rejected the American’s “order” with Foreign Minister Timerman further stating that the US has refused to collaborate in the investigation and warning that “the laws are made to be followed here.”

Towards that end, Obama, in announcing his first foreign trip for 2011, picked Brazil, Chile and El Salvador, all Nations that have suffered under the yoke of US oppression, but to which the Americans are now offering an “olive branch” of support to.

As the Official Seal of the United States contains an eagle (their National bird) holding these olive branches in its claw, it is important to note that in its other claw it holds arrows, and which the Americans signaled they were preparing to use when on April 28, 2008 the reactivated their Naval Forces Southern Command (USNAVSO) as the main Naval element of United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) designating its areas of operation as South America, Central America, the Caribbean and surrounding waters and this past July, 2010, landed 7,000 US Marines on the beaches of Costa Rica.”

Control over Argentina, this SVR report says, is “absolutely vital” for the American’s plan to retrench their empire into the Western Hemisphere as it is one of the World’s largest producers of food, and with the grim news from China that nearly its entire wheat crop is being destroyed by drought, coupled with the Superstorms that have wreaked our Planets ability to feed itself (and as we had previously reported on in our February 6threport New Superstorms Warned Have ‘Doomed’ World Food Production), whoever controls this South American Nation will, without a doubt, control the World.

To the masses of people, especially in the West, still ignorant of the true reasons lying behind the monstrous attempts by the US to “control the World” it is worth visiting, again, the dire 2004 still secret Pentagon report detailing the grim future that faces us all:

“A secret report, suppressed by US defence chiefs and obtained by The Observer, warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a 'Siberian' climate by 2020. Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread rioting will erupt across the world.

The document predicts that abrupt climate change could bring the planet to the edge of anarchy as countries develop a nuclear threat to defend and secure dwindling food, water and energy supplies. The threat to global stability vastly eclipses that ofterrorism, say the few experts privy to its contents.

'Disruption and conflict will be endemic features of life,' concludes the Pentagon analysis. 'Once again, warfare would define human life.'”
